The rules for using urlreview. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
1. Parties and scope
These terms are an agreement between Onur Sercan Yılmaz (the “Provider”, “we”), who operates the website at urlreview.com and the urlreview iOS and Android apps (together, the “Service”), and you, the user.
The Service lets people rate web addresses (“Links”), write reviews, reply to, like and share reviews.
2. Acceptance
When you create an account you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the KVKK Notice and the Community Guidelines. You cannot create an account or post without accepting them.
If these documents change materially we will tell you in the Service and ask you to accept the current version before you can keep posting.
3. Accounts
- Accounts are created only with Google or Apple. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure.
- You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18 you need the consent of a parent or guardian.
- You may not create accounts for someone else, under a false identity or by automated means, or use several accounts to manipulate ratings.
- Your username must not infringe anyone's rights, mislead others or break the Community Guidelines.
4. Your content
Ratings, reviews, replies, tags and profile details you post (“User Content”) belong to you and you alone are responsible for them.
By posting User Content you grant Onur Sercan Yılmaz a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, transferable licence to host, reproduce, display, distribute and let search engines index it in order to operate and promote the Service. The licence ends within a reasonable time after you delete the content (except for backups and legally required retention).
You can edit or delete your reviews at any time. Deleting your account deletes your reviews.
Your profile photo, header photo, bio and website link are also User Content and must follow the Community Guidelines. You may find some content posted by others offensive, inaccurate or misleading; you can report it and block the person who posted it.
We may use suggestions and feedback you send us to improve the Service without any obligation to you.
5. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- Post content that breaks the Community Guidelines (sexual content, insults, hate speech, threats, harassment, doxxing, spam, etc.).
- Post unlawful content or content that infringes anyone's personality, intellectual property or commercial rights.
- Post fake, paid-for or competitor-damaging reviews, or manipulate ratings.
- Spread malware, phishing or scam links.
- Try to bypass security, access systems without permission, overload the Service or scrape data.
- Use the Service for advertising or referral schemes.
6. Misuse of the Service and automated access
You may access the Service only through the website and mobile apps provided by urlreview. Without our prior written permission you must not:
- Crawl, scrape, copy or bulk-download the Service or its content with bots, spiders, scrapers or similar automated tools.
- Reverse engineer the software, try to obtain its source code, or circumvent security or rate limits.
- Access another person's account; sell or transfer accounts or usernames, or hold usernames without using them.
- Create a new account to get around a suspension or ban.
- Impersonate a person, brand or organisation in a misleading way (parody and fan accounts must say so clearly in their profile).
- Do anything that prevents or disrupts the Service working for other users.
7. Moderation and account measures
Content is checked by automatic filters, AI-assisted review and, where needed, human moderators. Content that appears to break the rules may be held for review or removed.
Depending on severity, violations may lead to a warning, a temporary mute or a permanent ban. You can block abusive users and report content; we aim to review reports within 24 hours.
When your content is removed or a measure is applied to your account, you are told why through an in-app notification. If you disagree, you can appeal to destek@urlreview.com within 14 days of the notice; where possible your appeal is reviewed by someone other than the person who made the original decision, and you are told the outcome.
8. Links and third-party content
Links reviewed on the Service are third-party websites. Onur Sercan Yılmaz has no control over, and is not responsible for, their content, safety, products, services or privacy practices. Visiting a Link is entirely at your own risk.
Links and the reviews written about them do not belong to Onur Sercan Yılmaz, do not reflect Onur Sercan Yılmaz's views and are not endorsed by Onur Sercan Yılmaz. See the Disclaimer for details.
9. Hosting provider and notices
With respect to User Content, Onur Sercan Yılmaz acts as a hosting provider under Turkish Law No. 5651 and is not obliged to monitor content in advance.
You can report content you believe is unlawful with “Report” in the app or by emailing hukuk@urlreview.com with a link to the content, your reasons and your contact details. Claims of personality-rights violations are answered within 24 hours and unlawful content is removed. Orders of competent authorities are complied with.
If you believe your intellectual property rights are infringed, email hukuk@urlreview.com with a description of the work, information showing you own the rights or are authorised to act for the owner, a link to the allegedly infringing content, your contact details and a statement that your notice is accurate. Content is removed when a notice is justified, and the user whose content was removed may appeal. Accounts of repeat infringers are closed. Whoever sends a false or bad-faith notice is responsible for it.
10. Intellectual property
The urlreview name, logo, interface and software belong to Onur Sercan Yılmaz and may not be copied or used commercially without permission. Trademarks and logos of reviewed sites belong to their owners and are shown only to identify the Link.
11. Availability and limitation of liability
The Service is provided free of charge “as is” and “as available”, without any guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change or discontinue all or part of it.
To the extent permitted by law, Onur Sercan Yılmaz is not liable for damages arising from User Content, third-party sites, unavailability of the Service or dealings between users. Liability for intent and gross negligence and mandatory consumer protection rules remain unaffected.
12. Indemnity
You agree to compensate Onur Sercan Yılmaz, in proportion to your fault, for losses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from claims, lawsuits or proceedings brought by third parties because of your breach of these terms, the Community Guidelines or the law, or because of content you posted. This does not limit mandatory consumer protection rules.
13. Deleting your account and termination
You can permanently delete your account at any time in Settings > Delete my account. Onur Sercan Yılmaz may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.
If we shut down the Service entirely we will announce it a reasonable time in advance. Accounts not used at all for more than 24 months may be closed after notice by email or in-app notification.
14. Additional terms for the Apple App Store
If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store:
- These terms are between you and Onur Sercan Yılmaz, not Apple; Onur Sercan Yılmaz, not Apple, is responsible for the app and its content.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
- If the app fails to conform to any warranty you may notify Apple; to the extent permitted by law Apple has no other warranty obligation.
- Claims relating to the app (product liability, legal compliance, consumer protection) are addressed to Onur Sercan Yılmaz.
- Onur Sercan Yılmaz is responsible for investigating third-party intellectual property claims.
- You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the app.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
- You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a US embargo and are not on a US list of prohibited parties.
15. General
- These terms and the documents they refer to (Privacy Policy, KVKK Notice, Community Guidelines, Cookie Policy and Disclaimer) are the entire agreement between us.
- If a provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
- Not exercising a right does not mean waiving it.
- Onur Sercan Yılmaz may transfer its rights and obligations under these terms to someone who takes over the Service; you will be informed. You may not transfer these terms.
- We are not liable for disruptions caused by events beyond reasonable control (force majeure), such as natural disasters, epidemics, war, cyber attacks or infrastructure or power outages.
- In disputes, Onur Sercan Yılmaz's electronic records constitute evidence under Article 193 of the Turkish Code of Civil Procedure; you may prove otherwise.
- Notices may be given to the email address linked to your account, as in-app notifications or by publishing them in the Service.
16. Changes, governing law and contact
The current version is always published in the Service; material changes require your renewed acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul (Central) have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
